“ We went to the District for a late movie showing. The film ends around 930PM. We check around for food. Korean closed. Japanese closed. Thai closed. American closed. Theres only one restaurant with the light on. THIS very store. We went in and time jump ahead for 50 years. You get a bowl, and then get to the open fridge to get any ingredients you like. And by any, I mean anything. Vermicelli, instant noodle, egg noodle... Tofu, tofu skin, bean curd, mushroom, 7 differeny vegetables... Fish ball, meat ball, imitation crab, beef, pork... Even the exotic one quail egg, duck blood, beef intestine, tripe... We get a bowl full, and it costs 13lbs ingredient. Then we pick a soup base and a cook will make it hot, fast, and delicious for us. Our meal costs around 18 and its plenty for two for a late night meal. The arbutus juice is a nice extra natural and not too sweet. In an area where every store is closed by 9PM, this restaurant stays open until 2359PM. Overall 1010 experience and its a must try if you want to live in the future like Bobeo the Hippo ”

“ I honestly walked in with mixed feelings. It was my first time trying hot pot I am a Pho fan. And I am not familiar with their settings. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with the sweetest person with a smile on his face. We got past our language barrier super quick by resorting to good old pointing at things. He showed me all the steps, one by one. And man, selections were plenty and fresh. After I made my choices, it only took 5 minutes for the food to be ready. It was enough for 3 people. But I had to finish it. Too good to go to waste. Keep it up, guys. You are awesome. And if I ever come back to the area, your establishment would be the first stop. ”
“ This is by far the best build your own hot pot place Ive tried. The variety of ingredients is top tier, the soup base options are nice and flavorful, and the owner is really nice. Each time weve come hes offered either free coconut jelly or free drink special. The food is at least 10x better than other malatang by weight hot pot places nearby like zhangliang and show hot pot. Highly recommend the tomato and tom yum bases. ”
“ This is my first time to visit this neat and small restaurant. It sells hotspicy pot, similar to hot pot, but no flame. We picked our food into a bowl and weighed it. The price is based on weight. The receptionist is very kind. He gave us two cups of milk tea for free, and explained the best choice of spicy class. It is delicious and spicy good, very suitable for a casual lunch in a winter day. Ill visit it again. ”
